People really didn’t take to “Collide.” Critical reviews weren’t particularly kind, with one person referring to the movie as having “eye-rolling dialogue” and “humdrum set pieces.”
It’s surprising that the combined talent of the superhero franchise “X-Men’s” Nicholas Hoult and sci-fi“Rogue One’s” Felicity Jones wasn’t enough to propel this action film into the big leagues. However, with only $740 on opening night, and the box office total amassing less than a quarter of the budget, “Collide” just wasn’t destined for success. Thankfully, there’s always next time for these two.
