[post_page_title]Major League: Back to the Minors – made $899[/post_page_title]
“Back to the Minors” was the third entry of the “Major League” film series, and it proved that too many sequels can be a bad thing.
While the first two sports comedy movies amassed around $50 million and $30 million at the box office respectively, “Back to the Minors” only managed $3.5 million. That’s a bit of a significant drop, and it might have been because it was the first movie not to feature Charlie Sheen. If he’d been involved, the film could have made more than $899 on opening night.
