“The Decoy Bride” debuted a year after David Tennant made his departure from sci-fi series “Doctor Who,” a role that helped him amass worldwide fame.
Sadly, while viewers might have enjoyed the Scotsman as a time-traveling alien, they weren’t so keen on him as a man caught up in a love triangle. Perhaps if Tennant had seen the romcom was only going to pull in $542 on launch night, he’d have gone back in time and stopped himself from signing up to it in the first place.
