Even the biggest actors can have a bad film. They might have liked the script when they read it, but something got lost in translation along the way. When Forest Whitaker agreed to horror film “The Marsh,” he probably thought audiences would like the dark story behind it.
However, it was quite the opposite. Earning just $336 on its opening night, the movie appealed to very few people, and it left a black mark on his career. Luckily, he had his award-winning performance in the historical drama “The Last King of Scotland” the same year.
