According to some former employees, it was a well-known and understood concept that Scott Rudin could become aggressive and start to throw things around the place. The informant even suggested that it was something they had to adapt to and that new staff sometimes made the mistake of standing too close.
Apparently, they got so used it that they made sure his phone cord wasn’t long enough to reach any of them and moved a picture on his desk somewhere else so he couldn’t throw it.
