Geoffrey was shocked and bemused when he became the source of such a debate, and he decided to use the opportunity to explain himself to those who were trying to shame his actions. He noted that over the course of his 26-year acting career, he has struggled to find a paid acting job that lasts more than 10 years. With a family to support and bills to pay, he needed something more flexible and secure. By working at Trader Joe’s, he could continue to pursue his acting passion while earning the money he needed.
