Cummings’s first job out of college was working on the Ashton Kutcher-produced prank show Punk’d in 2004. That same year she tried stand-up for the first time and never looked back. She became known for her fearless routines about the differences between men and women, her dating life, and the injustices she faced as a woman working in a male-dominated industry. The daring comedian landed her first Comedy Central special in 2010 and even hosted a short-lived talk show on E!, 2012’s Love You, Mean It with Whitney Cummings.
