Does anyone really ever check their permission pass? Apparently, this teacher thought not as a practical joke could’ve gone wrong had the student got caught. That, or they were trying to keep their identity a permanent secret.
We think we’ve finally cracked it. The teacher really is Gandalf and has sent the student as their new project to uncover the ring. This must be it. As long as they are back by high sun, then it all looks to be good.
