This teacher isn’t messing around. The sad fact of life is when there are rules, they actually aren’t meant to be broken. In fact, they’re there to help keep things in order as well as set the boundaries expected for the rest of your life.
So this teacher made the point that no one would be handing in their late assignments with an excuse – no matter what! Hopefully, no one was forced to do the walk of shame to hand in their late work…
