As a reminder of the chef’s popularity, she went on to win a Daytime Emmy Award in 2008, for Outstanding Lifestyle Host. This was an incredible accomplishment for the once unknown food-lover, and at this point, she began to recognize the fame she had gained.
Shortly before this, however, she garnered a slightly more unusual title. Town & Country magazine published an article referring to Giada’s height as “just under five-foot-two,” and subsequently calling her a “petite powerhouse.” It’s definitely not the typical compliment we’re used to hearing!
