On April 5, 2003, Giada De Laurentiis’ first television show, Everyday Italian, premiered on Food Network. She was an instant hit with the audience, for her unique Italian cuisine.
Fans found her to be genuine and friendly, and fell in love with the Italian-American television personality almost immediately. Although she admitted she felt a little uncomfortable in front of the cameras, she certainly did well, with Food Network viewers suggesting she might be an actress or model, rather than an actual chef.
