By 2006, Giada De Laurentiis had become quite the household name, especially for lovers of homemade food and baking. She was therefore invited to host the program Behind the Bash, a program that analyzes the process involved in catering large-scale events, such as the Grammy Awards.
Her fame only grew from here, with fans adoring both her culinary knowledge and her amiable personality. More and more of her audience became interested in cooking, wanting to try out recipes and styles which Giada had recommended.
