In November 2006, Giada and Bobby Flay competed on the American version of Fuji’s cooking game show, Iron Chef America. Hundreds of Giada’s fans tuned in to watch the competition against the resident chefs.
Most of the audience was rooting for Giada, seeing as she was a much-loved star by this point. However, much to their disappointment, the duo was defeated by the ‘Iron Chefs,’ Rachael Ray and Mario Batali. Everyone was devastated to see their favorite chef lose to the show’s chefs, but never lost hope in Giada.
