In 2007, Giada De Laurentiis was given another show for her to host. This show was made for Giada herself, and was aptly named Giada’s Weekend Getaways.
In this show, she traveled to different destinations to sample traditional cuisine and enjoy some of the area’s activities. She commented on the food and its preparation, giving people an insight into different cultures. She traveled to places such as Napa, South Beach, and Seattle, giving her thoughts on the food in each place she visited.
