On June 16, 2007, Giada’s show, Giada in Paradise, aired on the Food Network. It was very similar to Giada’s Weekend Getaways, featuring De Laurentiis traveling to different destinations to explore the food and culture.
It only aired two episodes on the Food Network in June 2007 but was moved to the Cooking Channel in 2012. As with all Giada shows and productions, it was well received and highly rated, and fans continued to fall in love with the chef and all of her Italian pronunciations.
