Thankfully for Hannah, she had a loving family at home who were determined to give her the life she deserved. Whenever her siblings caught wind of someone bullying their sister, they always stood up for her. They were willing to do whatever it took to make people back off, even going so far as to get into physical fights. Although their parents weren’t too pleased to see their children getting violent, they did appreciate that they looked out for Hannah.
Jackie and Larry had always done what they could to give their adopted daughter as normal a life as possible, even if her disorder complicated things. They put stools around the house to help Hannah reach high shelves and also had all the light switches lowered so they were easily accessible. They were willing to do anything they could do to make their daughter feel more comfortable at home.
