Despite now being a convicted criminal, and knowing she will spend her last years on US soil behind bars, Anna still has very few regrets. In fact, directly after her sentencing she told reporters she is not sorry and that she would be lying if she said she was.
Anna added she only regretted the way she went about certain things – a statement that can hardly be interpreted as an apology. That sounds more like regret over getting caught.
