That TV networks and publishing houses would be eager to make the most out of a story as fascinating and unbelievable as Anna’s is no surprise. But even artists have been inspired by the odd and audacious girl, and the audiences are here for it.
New York-based artist Cynthia Talmadge opened an Anna-inspired exhibition in September, five months after the conviction. Somehow Anna’s story is still relevant enough for this to cause a buzz and attract crowds.
