One of the people Anna had met in New York was museum founder and art collector Michael Xufu Huang. The two met in an art show and clicked so well they decided to fly together to Italy for the Venice Biennale.
That’s when things got a little weird. Anna had asked Michael to book the flight and the hotel on his credit card, promising to pay him back. Michael didn’t really mind, since it wasn’t a large sum of money for him, and he assumed she was good for it.
