These women may look skinny, but they are actually champion hot dog eaters. There are few things more iconic than the annual Nathan’s hot dog eating contest. It has occurred almost every year since 1972 on Independence Day on Coney Island and always draws a crowd.
The current defending men’s champion, Joey Chestnut, ate a whopping 72 hot dogs during the 2018 competition, and women’s winnerת Miki Sudo, pictured here on the left, ate 37 hot dogs.
