After Pacia and Jon had said their fateful ‘I dos’, it was time for the reception, and the speeches that would commemorate their union. The first to speak was Pacia’s maid of honor, her sister, who started her speech with a tribute to their grandparents.
Neither grandparent had been able to make it, but they offered some advice to Pacia and Jon about the nature of marriage as a joint venture. So long as each of them remembered to give it their all for the person opposite them, they would be all right.
