The reason we’re saying these things is because people need to be careful. If they do the wrong thing with the wrong girl, things could get disastrous.
For instance, if Teddy were to photoshop a different girl in the same way, she might have reacted in a much darker way. She might have gotten depressed, or hurt, or shocked, or scared that others would make fun of her. And Teddy’s “revenge” might not have been as playful as he had hoped.
