Right after he said all that, he added that he has no desire to speak to her ever again. But instead of receiving support from his loved ones, he received backlash. He started getting countless phone calls from both her and his parents.
They agreed she had done something “wrong,” but in their opinion it wasn’t a good enough reason to throw away seven plus years of a relationship. Furthermore, they reasoned, if he ends it with her, she would then have to “drop out” and waste all those years of education.
