Edi describes himself as a “spontaneous improviser” and knew Cally would be onto him immediately if he tried to plan an elaborate proposal. So he figured, instead of a flash mob, a sign or dinner at a fancy restaurant – he would carry the ring with him at all times. That way he could stay true to his personality and propose spontaneously, whenever the right moment presented itself.
