However, not everyone was impressed with Jeffrey’s proposal. One onlooker noted that the whole proposal was extremely “strange,” and that she couldn’t understand why Shiela had said yes. In fact, she even noted that if she was Shiela, she would have “dumped him right there” for putting her through such an ordeal. Yet, the negative opinions of others went straight over the new couple’s heads, because they were too wrapped up in their own love to care about what they thought. They were engaged, and that was all that mattered.
