So what exactly happens to the Royal baby gifts given to Meghan and Harry from the public? They surely can’t keep all of them…can they? While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are allowed to choose out of their large pile what to keep for their new nursery at Frogmore Cottage, a majority of the presents will likely be given to charities.
As for the gifts that were mailed to the couple’s home, the mail room staff will end up sending them back to the return address with a thank you note. If there is no return address, however, then the gift will get donated to local charities or hospitals.
