The team were all curious as to how the leopard could have got there in the first place. Was she thirsty? Was there something in the well that she wanted? The volunteers came up with an idea that seemed to make sense. They believed the leopard had been chasing prey when she stumbled and fell into well. She was so focused on making the catch she hadn’t even noticed it was there! Unfortunately, it could have happened at any point in the night. Any longer and she could have drowned.
