Initially born in Washington, Ryan and his entire family relocated to Canada when he was just 10 years old. Here Ryan attended high school, but said that when he became a senior, all the freedom became too tempting; he dropped out of school before graduating his senior year. His parents wanted Ryan to further his education, but he insisted he could make it as a stand-up comedian – which he did! At a young age, Ryan could support himself through his paid gigs.
