Growing up in California, April had a much different background to many of her other co-stars. In fact, April has initially had a keen interest in dance, especially ballet, as she would attend regular classes as a child. At high school, April began to study French while continuing to dance and took both of her passions to college with her where she studied marine biology. Although she had wanted to be a dancer for so long, it was after school that April decided to focus on her acting instead. several of these photos were taken during her teenage years in East Union high school, before she became famous for her role as Kandi.
