It is no surprise that Charlie had some acting influence growing up after learning his father and all his siblings were actors themselves. Charlie had already landed his first movie role by nine years old, but when in high school he began making movies with Sean Penn and Rob Lowe. It was here that he knew acting was the way forwards but was also a star baseball player for the school before he was kicked out for his bad grades just before graduating.
