Growing up, Conchata didn’t have much of an acting background as she grew up not knowing what she wanted to pursue as a career. When she graduated from high school, the future actress dropped out of college to work several different jobs before re-enrolling to earn herself a history education degree. Conchata didn’t land her first acting role until she was 26 where she wound up on stage, but quickly found work for her natural comedy acting skills.
