Walden is introduced to the show as Charlie Harper’s replacement in the ninth season. This billionaire makes his first appearance when he is thrown out by his wife, Bridget, for being too immature; a theme that continues throughout the show. Walden buys Charlie’s old house which he promptly moves into and calls home; Walden also welcomes Alan and Jake to move back in with him. While he has many relationships, Walden ultimately ends up alone wishing things were how they used to be when it was just him and Alan.
