We’re all raised to do things a certain way, whether it’s keeping the butter in the fridge, or in a butter dish in the cupboard. Either way is okay, but some people might not realize there are perfectly good reasons for keeping butter in either storage method.
However, one roommate was clearly getting testy, believing that their roommate was going to be spoiling the butter by leaving it out. Unfortunately, knowledge got the better of them this time around, as butter can be left out overnight.
