Although Carla and Gladys had been busy exploring the upstairs, it turned out there was an entire basement that needed to be investigated. The laundry room was covered in wood paneling from top to bottom.
It might not have been pink, but all that wood was still a jump back to the fabulous fifties as Carla and Gladys stood back to take it all in. The room was once the perfect space for Joyce. Now, it seemed as though she was ready to move on.
