While Jada was having wedding-day doubts and blues, Will – on the other hand – couldn’t have been happier that he was marrying his soulmate. The actor opened up about how having a wife and kids was all he ever dreamed of. “There wasn’t a day in my life that I wanted anything other than being married and having a family,” he said. “At five years old, I was picturing what my family would be.”
Despite being on opposite pages when it came to being in a marital relationship, the couple’s strong love and dedication for the other outweighed any differences they had. In July 1998, their son Jaden was born, and by October 2000 they welcomed their second child together, a daughter named Willow. And just like that, Will’s childhood dreams of having a family were coming true.
