Not before long, both Smith kids had entered the world of entertainment. Jaden’s breakthrough performance came in 2006 when he was just eight years old, starring alongside his father in The Pursuit of Happyness – followed by a leading role in The Karate Kid four years later. His sister, Willow, made her acting debut also next to her father in the 2007 film I Am Legend, although she didn’t truly reach prominence until 2010 when she released her debut single, Whip My Hair.
