Given that razors are so expensive, you could be forgiven for wanting to keep using the same one for as long as possible. What’s more, using an old razor couldn’t have any negative health effects, right? Wrong.
After a certain amount of uses the blades on a razor become dull, and they cut much less efficiently. As such, using an old razor is likely to leave your skin much more irritated and with a lot more nicks, leaving it more susceptible to bacterial infection.
