After one year together, the Oscar winner and TV producer called things off, not long after rumors began to swirl that the actor boyfriend was seen going out for dinner with 22-year-old model Shauna Sexton in Malibu in August 2018. Affleck’s alleged romance with the young model didn’t last long, and him and Shookus got back together for a brief period of time in February 2019, until they broke up for good that April.
An inside source spoke about why Shookus and Affleck’s relationship didn’t work, “She has a kid and an ex-husband and a job in New York and Ben has his family and a job in L.A., and while they love and respect each other, they just realized it wasn’t going to work.”
