Bennifer fans and tabloids were eagerly awaiting the highly-anticipated event, which was supposed to be held at a lavish Santa Barbara estate in front of 400 of their ‘closest’ friends. However, just four days prior to the big day, the two A-listers called off their wedding due to “excessive media attention.”
Although at the time they claimed the ceremony was just “delayed” and that their relationship was still strong, by January 2004, Ben and J.Lo were no longer an item.
