Less than a year after meeting, Ben decided to get down on one knee and pop the question to his actress girlfriend on her 33rd birthday. Although the ring wasn’t quite as impressive as the infamous six-carat pink diamond he gave J.Lo a year prior, Garner’s Harry Winston ring was still awfully stunning with a whopping four and a half carats.
On June 29, 2005, the happy couple got hitched in a tropical private ceremony at Parrot Cay in Turks and Caicos and were officiated by the actress’ Alias co-star Victor Garber – who along with his husband were the only guests invited. Of course, more joyous occasions were around the corner for the newlyweds as Garner was four months pregnant at the time with their first child, Violet.
