As per the requirements of the museum when it’s closed, there were two members of security on duty that night. One would patrol the corridors and check on the priceless artwork, while the other would sit at the front desk.
They would then switch. After patrolling the museum, Richard Abath alleviated his coworker from his position at the desk and made himself comfortable in preparation for the next few hours. It seemed as though the night would be just like any other night, but he couldn’t have been more wrong…
