So, it begs the question, do they deserve what they are getting? It depends on the way you look at it. Lori has pleased not guilty for the crimes she is accused of. She claims that she “did what any mother would do”.
The only problem with this statement is that not every mother has $500,000 to throw at their children’s college education. Needless to say, her comment did not garner her much sympathy from the public – especially since Felicity Huffman, who was also charged, pleaded guilty.
