After the success of his stint on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Dr. Phil was offered his very own show – and his fame continued to skyrocket. Because of this, his whole family were able to experience the life of the rich and famous. Their bank balances increased, their home got much larger, and they were able to afford the finer things in life. Dr. Phil, his wife, and his two children also got a taste for life in the limelight. It seems as though Jay McGraw was impressed with the television world, and ultimately decided to forge his own path to fame.
