Cooper began dating Irina Shayk in 2015, and since then the couple have grown closer thanks to a special bond they share. Shayk became the mother of their child in 2017 and Cooper opened up about how becoming a father has changed his perspective on life.
He began looking for work projects that spoke to him on a personal level, rather than just going from movie to movie. Since becoming a father Cooper gained renewed focus, preferring to make one piece of art in four years rather than a handful of films.
