When it comes to comedy icons of the 20th century, several big names stand out. One of those is Lucille Ball, a woman who was supposedly a big fan of Eden’s. Following Barbara’s appearance on ‘I Love Lucy’ back in the ‘50s, Ball apparently wanted to make the actress a regular on the show.
She clearly saw something in Eden that the rest of the world had yet to notice. Unfortunately, Barbara was already committed to something else when Lucille’s offer came along, so she had to decline it.
