There’s no doubt that ‘I Dream of Jeannie’ is Eden’s most famous role by far. It’s what the actress has been known for since the show ended, and she doesn’t mind that at all. However, Barbara has had leading roles in other series, including the sitcom ‘Harper Valley PTA’ and ‘Brand New Life.’
Eden had actually appeared in the film version of the former, with the star reprising the part of Stella Johnson for the TV show. Unfortunately, after airing just two seasons in the early ‘80s, it was canceled.
