Not only was Jennifer looking for a break from work, but she also wanted to try and better herself as an actress. She believed she needed to live a little more so that she had experiences to pull from once she was back on set.
Hewitt said she felt that she’d “acted for a lot of years from [her] heart” but without “truly understanding some of the things that [she] understand[s] now.” It was hard disappearing from the spotlight for several years, but Jennifer believes it was definitely worthwhile.
