‘Garfield: The Movie’ came at the perfect time for Hewitt because it fit in nicely between her successful work in the ‘90s and ‘Ghost Whisperer.’ However, she might not have needed the film if she’d agreed to a role in one of the most popular fantasy dramas of the ‘00s.
Apparently, Hewitt was asked to replace Shannen Doherty following her departure from ‘Charmed’ in season three. The actress said no, allowing Rose McGowan to take the part. However, we reckon Jennifer would have made an excellent addition to the cast.
