After several years in LA, it was clear that Hewitt’s acting career held a lot of promise. However, it wasn’t just her screen work that was getting some recognition. In 1992, one year after leaving ‘Kids Incorporated,’ the actress released her debut album.
The collection, entitled ‘Love Songs,’ was only released in Japan, mainly because it was funded by a music and game company there. Although the limited release affected sales, the album’s popularity in Japan made her a star over there. Now, she just needed that success in America.
