Like many children, Kate chose to spend her Christmas with her mother. While there doesn’t seem to be anything unusual about that, it is a bold step as typically William would have spent Christmas with his family.
William and Kate ditched the traditional Royal Family Christmas held in Norfolk to spend it with Kate’s family. Along with her sister, Pippa, Kate and William joined Carole Middleton for a new Christmas tradition. They spent the holiday season at the Middleton family home in Berkshire, breaking with tradition to allow Kate to spend some valuable time with her mother.
